The free milk supplied to under-fives at our settings is funded by the Department of Health via the Nursery Milk Reimbursement Unit (NMRU).
From 26th September 2016, the company operating the NMRU will change and all childcare settings that wish to continue to receive free Nursery Milk will need to re-register with the NMRU. This will be a simple online process that should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
No action needs to be taken yet – we will contact our settings in the coming weeks with more detailed instructions. Cool Milk’s service will not be affected provided that settings re-register with the NMRU promptly after 26th September 2016.
