Milk provision for children in primary education

Cool Milk at School Ltd. operate throughout the UK providing administration schemes for County Councils enabling the provision of school milk at break time. The following service could be offered at little/no cost to your Council:

• Provision of free milk for under 5's in Nursery classes
• Provision of free milk for under 5's in primary school
• Provision of milk at primary schools on a parent subscription scheme at approximately 19p a day

The provision of the above service includes:

• Free fridge on-loan to schools offering milk to all classes
• All parent information letters
• Collection of all monies direct from parents
• Weekly drinking list for each school
• Full contact with local dairy and payment of invoices
• Cool Milk at School would provide all the administration and expertise for running the scheme and claiming EU and Department of Health money as an agency of the Council.

The schools input would be to receive the milk ever other day or daily, hand the milk out to children on a pre-supplied list, updated each week, supervise drinking and disposing of the cartons.
