Cool Milk proudly supported Accrington Stanley Football club at their third annual shirt giveaway this week, by supplying free milk for over 1200 primary school children in attendance.
On Tuesday 24th September, the club welcomed 1210 Year 3 children, each of whom received a free ASFC replica shirt, whilst getting the opportunity to meet their favourite players from the squad – and their nourishing 1/3 pint daily milk entitlement.
Stanley midfielder Sean McConville credits the event with helping to raise awareness of the club, the wider benefits of sport for children, and “bringing in the next generation of fans”.
Our very own Cool Milk mascot Amoolia also got involved , connecting local schools with the free and subsidised milk scheme to ensure the all important hat-trick of education, nutrition, and exercise were fully realised.
ASFC offered their thanks to What More UK, Accrington Stanley Community Trust, and Studio, as the main sponsors of the event. As well as Cool Milk, the UK’s leading school and nursery milk supplier, other businesses supporting the event included: including Scott Dawson Advertising, Orion Travel, Cranberry Coachways, Red Rose, Pilkington Bus, Moving People, Clayton Park Bakery, Spar Group, and Property Shop.
