We were delighted to introduce Moo Moo, Cool Milk Scotland’s travelling cow, to so many nurseries before lockdown. It was wonderful to help educate so many children about where their milk comes from and why it’s such a nutritious and vital part of their diet.

It’s always a pleasure to speak to children about the local Scottish dairies we work with and assure them the milk delivered by Cool Milk Scotland is most definitely not from the supermarket shelf.

Like many other businesses, we are adapting to a new way of working. In order to ensure Moo Moo still gets to visit as many nurseries as possible, we’ve created an online, fun and interactive way to share these important messages with Scotland’s young children, parents, and teachers.

We are excited to partner with RHET who have a wealth of knowledge in providing Scottish schools and nurseries with incredible learning experiences, within the food and farming industry. Together, we will develop new and exciting ways to offer Cool Milk customers a remote experience, which we promise will be as interactive and fun as an on-site one.

Like Cool Milk Scotland, RHET have several new resources in the pipeline, including a nursery resource book and a food miles/seasonality poster; who better to join forces with and offer our customers activities and resources that are totally FREE?

Both RHET and Cool Milk Scotland are proud to support the invaluable work taking place in Early Years settings, across Scotland, every day.  Our interactive resources can be linked to the Early Years Curriculum for Excellence and just as importantly, they are thoroughly enjoyed by the children themselves.

Until we can get back to visiting our lovely nurseries in person, we hope our remote Moo Moo activity will bring nurseries a little fun, a little laughter and of course lots of education!
