
MPs Celebrate World School Milk Day with their Local Settings
In conjunction with the SNMA; MPs up and down England went to visit their local settings on World School Milk Day, which is 27th September.
The aim of the MPs visiting settings is to highlight the health and educational benefits of milk in schools and encourage more children to drink milk. Schools and nurseries across the country have been taking part in a variety of activities to mark the day, ranging from MP visits to themed activities within the classroom.
Sheryll Murray, Conservative MP for South East Cornwall and Labour MP for Delyn, David Hanson went to visit local settings to promote the availability of milk and schools and nurseries. Other MPs who went to visit their local settings were Mike Kane, Labour MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East and Alex Cunningham, Labour MP for Stockton North.
